Laptops - No more Bulky Desktops
Yeah it is fact that Laptops are more faster, cheaper, and better. The mobility bandwagon of laptops overpower desktop in all respects.
Notebook computers or lapotps (lappies as we refer them) are the hot devices around. Besides the old college kid aboard a bus pulling out a shiny notebook for the appeal factor, having PC-like processing power and connectivity on the go is all the more desirable for businessmen, executives, or basically anyone who needs to be in touch with the work, while yet away from the workplace. This is partially due to the diminishing cost of notebooks, resulting in wider acceptance. There was a time in India when having a notebook was considered to be a cool status symbol of sorts. Now people who use a notebook at crowded airport terminals couldn't give a whit about the attention.
Notebooks have permeated not only the working class layer of this country, but many people considering buying a computer for their homes are actually switching over a notebooks. Why? Well, they consume less power, they're infinitely more mobile, they give you instant connectivity that a PC needs, and you can't deny the convenience of working from bed!
One of the first decisions you will face is the choice of screen size. In fact, everything from specifications to its features are affected by the screen size. Smaller laptops, or compact laptops offer smaller screen typically slower configurations, (it's tougher to cool faster components in a smaller chassis), though not always so, and the bonus is light-weight with improved portability. Larger notebooks may be more powerful, or offer you a larger screen, but they sacrifice on mobility. Such larger notebooks are often called desktop replacements since they offer nearly the same feel as their larger cousins. You get larger screens, faster components and well spaced out keyboards.
